Art, a Ghanaian soccer player who disappeared after the earthquake in Turkiye… Found dead after 12 days
Ghana’s national football team Christian Artz, who disappeared in Turkiye, has been found dead.
According to foreign media such as ESPN and Reuters on the 18th, Artz was found dead in the wreckage of a collapsed apartment. He is 31 years old.
Art’s manager, Murat Uzunmehmet, told local media, “Ats’s body was recovered from a collapsed building in southern Turkey. His cell phone was also found.”
According to the rescue authorities, the place where they were found was the ‘Renaissance Residence’, a luxury apartment complex in Antakya, Hatay Province, where Arts resided.
On the 6th, as a magnitude 7.8 struck Turkey and Syria, the news of Art’s disappearance was reported. The next day, the news that Artz was rescued from the rubble of the building and transferred to the hospital was also reported, but it was soon confirmed as a false report.
Since then, many people have hoped for his return, but he returned to his body 12 days after the earthquake, causing regret.
As the news spread, Hitaispor, his team, said, “I will not forget the arts. His body will be sent to his homeland, Ghana,” and his former team, Newcastle United, also expressed condolences, saying, “It is very sad to inform that Artz has lost his life.” 스포츠토토
