KLPGA Tour Kyochon Ladies Open reduced to 36 holes due to bad weather
The 9th Kyochon 1991 Ladies Open of the Korean Women’s Professional Golf KLPGA Tour was reduced to two rounds due to bad weather.
The KLPGA tour announced on the 6th, “We decided to cancel the final 3 rounds due to heavy rain and strong winds.”
The tournament, which was scheduled to be held as a 54-hole tournament at Busan Asiad Country Club from the 5th to the 7th, was disrupted by bad weather on the first day, the 5th.안전놀이터
On the 5th, due to heavy rain, the start was delayed by an hour, so 65 out of 130 players, half of the total, could not finish the first round.
On the 6th, the rest of the first round was originally scheduled to resume at 6:50 am, but the weather continued to be bad, so it was delayed for more than 4 hours, and the first round was not finished until 2:30 pm.
Accordingly, the organizing committee decided to shorten the tournament to 36 holes instead of the originally scheduled 54 holes.
As of the first round, Woo-Jung Kim is leading by one stroke with a 4-under 68.
