Lopez Threats Lydia Ko in Round 2 of Saudi Tournament
Reporter Gyu-Bin Hong = Gaby Lopez (30, Mexico) threatened Lydia Ko (New Zealand) in the second round of the Ladies’ European Tour (LET) Aramco Saudi Ladies’ International (total prize money: $5 million).
Lopez hit a 3 under par 69 on the second day of the tournament held at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club (par 72, 6,225 yards) in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia on the 17th.
With an interim total of 9 under par and 135 strokes, Lopez tied for first place with Aditi Ashok (India) as of 7:00 p.m. Korean time.
