‘Korean Monster’ Ryu Hyun-jin is finally back in action. He’s scheduled to pitch in a rehab game. The timing of his return to the big leagues could be materializing.
“Hyun-jin Ryu will make his first rehab start on July 5 in the Complex League or Single-A,” Canadian TSN Sports reporter Scott Mitchell reported on Twitter on July 2. He added that his fastball only touched 88 miles per hour (141.6 kilometers per hour), but that he had lost 30 pounds and his body shape had changed dramatically.
