Women’s soccer ‘first Olympic final challenge’… 18th Preliminary Group Draw
The draw for the Asian regional qualifiers for Korean women’s soccer, which aims to advance to the Olympic finals for the first time in history, will be held on the 18th.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will hold a draw ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics in Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 18th (Korean time).
According to the FIFA rankings, Australia (10th), Japan (11th) and China (13th) were assigned to Pot 1.
South Korea, ranked 17th, is port 2 along with Vietnam (33rd) and Taiwan (37th).
Port 3 is Thailand (44th), Philippines (49th) and Uzbekistan (50), while port 4 is India (61st), Iran (67th) and North Korea.
North Korea does not have a ranking because it has not recently participated in international competitions.
The second round of women’s soccer qualifiers for the Paris Olympics will be held from October, and 12 countries will be divided into three groups to play the group stage. The second round of qualifiers will be held in Australia, China and Uzbekistan.안전놀이터
The first place in each group advances to the final round, and the best performing team from the second place in each group joins.
The final qualifiers scheduled for February next year will be divided into 2 teams from 4 countries, with a home-and-away game to determine the right to advance to the Olympic finals.
